Join us at Ecopath Endurance, where we're redefining the ultrarunning experience! Since 2017, we've been revolutionizing the way runners share their journey with the world.
What we Offer as a Brand:
One word: “Community.” Ecopath Endurance offers group experiences that are fun, rewarding, adventure-based and environmentally friendly. Just being a part of a group of people who are all going through the same things usually brings that group of people closer together out of necessity. We do it as humans because we really like to do things together, especially challenging things like ultra marathons and other endurance-testing events.
The Mighty Gallatin. This 300 mile, 7-day stage-format adventure is organized by Helgi Olafson. This is a zero profit adventure, centered around a select group of 15 graduate-level endurance athletes willing to put everything on the line to tackle over 144,000 feet of elevation change on an unmarked course through Grizzly country in the rugged Montana Rockies. These adventurers embark as a team on a challenging experience that adheres to the regulations of the protected areas within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, including the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area and adjacent areas in the Gallatin National Forest and Hyalite Porcupine Buffalo Horn Wilderness Study Area. Due to our agreement with the United States Forest Service, sponsorship for this event may only be provided to the individual runners and no contractual obligations will be permitted.
Now with the rise of gamification in ultra events like "Everesting," also known as 29029, we've crafted another unique format that sets us apart from the rest: Capture the Flags Ultra, a gamified, timed race format.
Our first event using this new format took place on June 29th in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a special format where runners can select to run predefined routes of varying distances, in whatever order they want. Runners retrieve flags from each route to add points to their score, and their overall team score. Runners are timed when they start a loop and each time they finish a loop, then enter the transition area. The transition area will be staged with the flag vaults for each team, and offer the runners a place to restock their gear, take a break, or grab a meal. The event had live tracking, as well as live Instagram updates for viewers at home.
Our vision extends beyond just a race. While the competition in the ultra space intensifies, we prioritize the essence of completing challenges alongside fellow enthusiasts. For the majority of non-professional ultrarunners, it's about the camaraderie and personal growth that drives them forward. Join us on the trail and find the path to self-discovery, where PRs and finishes are celebrated, alongside the challenges and obstacles to overcome
